Cloud Voicemail System

(See also, related article "Control Panel > Voicemail" for additional online voicemail features and settings.)

All voiSip voice plans include a FREE Cloud Voicemail Message System.

This article describes various features and usability of the Voicemail System.

A. Four (4) ways to access your mailbox.

Note: Default mailbox PIN is 1234.  You can change or disable the PIN once logged in, or from the Control Panel.

1. Dial 123 from any phone registered on your voiSip number.  Enter PIN if required.
2. Dial your number from a 3rd party phone.  Dial 0 (zero) during the greeting message.  PIN required.
3. Dial 8328387000 from a 3rd party phone.  Enter your 10 digit voiSip number.  PIN required.
4. Log into the Control Panel on our website, using the username and password info sent in your password summary email.

Tip I: When copying and pasting passwords, be careful to NOT copy any extra spaces, or password will be invalid.
Tip II: If you have multiple numbers, each primary number will have a separate login password.
Tip III: Cloud (forwarding) numbers are usually controlled by a primary number, and do not have their own login.

B. Change your voicemail greeting(s).

Note: There are 9 greeting memory slots available. You can record different greetings, and select which greeting is Active.

1. Access your mailbox using method 1, 2 or 3 in section A above.
2. Dial 5 for Advanced Options.
3. Follow the menu prompts to Record a greeting, or select Active greeting.

Tip I: Use slot 1 for your "everyday" greeting.  Use the other slots for occasional greetings, holidays, weather, etc.

C. Listen to your voicemail messages.

1. Access your mailbox using method 1, 2 or 3 in section A above.  Follow the menu prompts to Listen, Delete or Move messages.  Example: 7 to delete a message.
2. Access your mailbox using method 4 in section A above. Click the Voicemail tab to Listen, Download or Delete messages.

Tip I: Once you delete a message, it is gone. Use the email delivery system to receive messages in case you'd like to save them offline.

D. Online voicemail features... Control Panel > Voicemail.

Using the online Control Panel, you can access additional mailbox features...

1. Email Delivery Address to receive notifications with .wav file audio message attachments
2. SMS TXT Notification Address (you must enter a full SMS Address, not just a 10 digit phone number)
3. Download, Review or Delete voicemail messages online, rather than from your phone
